Privacy Policy

Overview

Lirivo helps you listen to text and imported documents. This policy explains what information Lirivo stores, when text may be sent to optional cloud providers, and how analytics are used.

Information Stored on Your Device

Lirivo stores app data on your device, including imported text records, generated audio records, playback progress, preferences, and provider configuration status. Provider credentials you enter are stored locally using iOS Keychain.

Built-In iPhone Voices

When you use built-in iPhone voices, text-to-speech playback is handled on your device by Apple system speech features. Lirivo does not send your text to a Lirivo-operated server for built-in voice playback.

Optional Cloud Voice Providers

If you choose to configure a cloud text-to-speech provider, Lirivo sends the text needed for playback or speech generation directly to the provider you selected, such as Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure. Lirivo does not operate an intermediary backend for these provider requests; the app communicates directly with the selected provider using credentials you provide.

Generated audio or job output may be temporarily stored by the selected provider, including in a Google Cloud Storage bucket when Google long-audio generation is used, until you delete it or Lirivo deletes it as part of the app workflow. These providers process text and audio output according to their own terms and privacy policies. Cloud voice features are optional and require credentials you provide.

Analytics

Lirivo uses Firebase/Google Analytics to understand app reliability and product usage, such as app launches, setup progress, import and playback milestones, broad feature usage, and coarse accessibility-related settings such as whether VoiceOver or Spoken Content is enabled and whether the selected text size is in a standard, large, or accessibility category.

Analytics events are designed not to include text content, audio content, file names, file paths, credential material, raw provider identifiers, precise location, or a Lirivo account identifier.

No Lirivo Account

Lirivo currently does not require a Lirivo account. Lirivo does not operate a user account backend for this version.

Data Sharing

Lirivo does not sell personal information. Lirivo does not use app data for cross-app advertising tracking.

Children

Lirivo is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Lirivo changes how it stores, processes, or shares information.
